Reporting to the production crew leader, this position will be responsible for various activities in the manufacturing area. Production operator duties include, but not limit to, loading and unloading trucks, putting away bulk raw material, feeding raw materials into the manufacturing process, operating the batching system, supporting the granulator operator by visual inspections of the operating equipment and recording data.
Specific Responsibilities Include:
Performing general housekeeping, sweeping, shoveling, mopping, etc.
Perform general maintenance duties to include but limited to, changing V-belts, general greasing, painting, chipping, poking, occasional grounds maintenance, following all safe operating procedures and adhere to all safety guidelines. Compliance with all Safety, Environmental and Operating Standards
Report any Safety concerns to the Production Crew Leader as soon as they are identified.
Ensure plant equipment is operating at maximum efficiency.
Monitoring of computer based control systems and equipment for malfunction or breakdown potential and respond accordingly to minimize downtime and or equipment failure
As trained and qualified, provide coverage for additional plant positions when required.
Moderate to heavy workloads on a periodic basis.
Perform any other duties as assigned by the supervisor
Qualifications of the Position Include:
Must be able to lift heavy loads and communicate effectively with co-workers.
Self-starter and effective communicator with the ability to interact with plant personnel on a daily basis. Must have the ability to dependably work assigned hours and follow company policies and procedures. Proven multi-tasking skills and the ability to work independently in a team environment.

Salary: $13.50 - $14.00 per hour
