Job Title: Service Manager
Location: Holly, MI
Pay: $40/hr +
Essential Functions:
• Liaise with project managers to resolve product issues in the field under warranty.
• Provide support to post ship functions related to spare parts and service actions for suggested replacement updates and required engineering changes to the standards.
• Provides input and direction for field service issues outside of the standard warranty period.
• Travels to the customer's site (as required) to assist in product development, working with engineering design specifications, objectives and standards.
• Part of the advisory team that develops new products as well as old through technology, creativity and design for manufacturing.
• Develop and document "Technical Bulletins” for applications of standards for all products.
• Liaise with technical documentation dept creating technical information for inclusion in customer manuals.
• Provide technical support and consultation function to all departments and customers.
• Technically support the account managers when required to assist in the presentation of proposed solutions and processes.
• Assists in special projects in support for sales and marketing, applications and manufacturing.
• Meets agreed upon goals and objectives in a timely manner.
• Arrives to work, meetings, appointments, and other work-related functions on time and as scheduled.
Required Skills, Education, and Experience:
• 10 to 15 years of product support and customer field service.
• Have a practical working knowledge of automated assembly & test solutions, material handling systems, mechanical designs, special machines, mechanisms, electrical and fluid machine control and process logistics.
• Requires solid technical assessment, communication and presentation skills demonstrated technical proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Process engineering background and proven trouble-shooting skills

• Up to 80% of travel required, including international travel and overnight stays.
