Position Title: Weld Fitter
Location: Auburn Hills
Shifts Needed: Day or Night Days | Monday- Friday 6a-4:45p +
Saturday 6a-12p Nights | Monday- Friday 4p-2:45a + Saturday 12p-6p
Character of Position As a Weld Fitter, you will be responsible
for fitting, fabricating, and assembling the structural components that make up
a tool for the aerospace industry. MUSThave their own tools, be able to read blueprints.MUSTbe really good at math.MUSTbe able to read a tape measure.
NOTinterested in experience working in production or assembly
line.NOTinterested in experience fitting rack
Responsibilities
Analyze the blueprints to determine the specifications,
tolerances, and locate/read the stock list on a drawing Construct structural
components from raw materials
Use welding equipment to fuse structural components Inspect
fabricated components to ensure that they are the correct size
Utilizing shears, power saws, cutting torches, and chipper
knives to cut structural components as needed Ability to saw, miter, and fit
fabrications (fit and tack)
Replace damaged or defective structural components as needed
Certified in TIG and MIG welding
Follow OSHA safety guidelines, and ITAR compliance Other duties
as assigned

Experience
Proven experience working as a fitter Minimum of 2 years'
experience
Education High School Diploma or equivalent
